As awareness and knowledge of the practitioner's ability to deal with virtually every one of life's eventualities, self confidence is the natural result. Practical Self Defense/Combat SkillsLearn a no-nonsense approach to defending oneself and others. WJCF includes a practical, complete look at the mindsets of attackers, victims, and warriors. It looks at as many conceivable situations and applies skills to deal with virtually all of them. AwarenessImportant in every aspect of existence, being aware of one's environment and universe is stressed in this system. Students learn simple and very effective techinques for expanding their awareness to extraordinary levels. Multiple Opponent FightingMore and more it's unlikely that an unprovoked attack (or even a provoked attack) will be met with only one opponent. In WJCF, every situation is considered a multiple opponent situation unless proven otherwise. Which, of course means that there are effective, efficient skills taught and applied from the system. Goal OrientationWJCF teaches above all warriorship. Regularly setting and working to achieving goals is in the very nature of a warrior and what makes him or her effective in every venture. Goal seeting and orientation is stressed all throughout its curriculum. Personal Code of EthicsWarriors all follow their own personal code of ethics. In fact, every individual does. WJCF teaches and employs specific techniques for allowing the warrior to find his or her own path and follow it. Use of WeaponsWith the weapons concepts in WJCF, picking up nearly any weapon and being able to use it effectively becomes not only a possibility, but a reality. Defense Against WeaponsWJCF includes simple, detailed and astonishingly effective drills and concepts for defeating an enemy, whether they hold a weapon or not. If they hold a weapon, it simply tends to go much worse for the opponent...whether the practioner of WJCF holds a weapon or not. Speed ConceptsSimple concept: Force = Mass * Acceleration2 WJCF has a huge number of speed concepts, each of which increases the practitioner's speed--thus effectiveness-- by an astounding amount. It's not uncommon for an opponent--or even the practitioner-- to comment that the weapons was moving so quickly as to be imperceptible to the naked eye. Power ConceptsWJCF has an amazing number of power concepts, each of which refine movement and increases power output by a minimum of 20% per power concept. And with over 100 of them.... MeditationA clear and able mind lead the able body, and the meditation exercises included in the system come directly from those who have studied these arts extensively to that end. Energy Use for HealingUsing ambient and personal energies for healing has been a part of many martial system for millenia. In WJCF, there are a number of techniques and concepts which are nothing short of amazing and effective. Energy Use for WeaponsUsing ambient and personal energies for use in attacking with bare hands or with unnatural weapons has astounding effects on the target and the ease of movement. Perfect integration of mind, body, and spirit are a core part of WJCF. Ground FightingFalling, whether by tripping or by the actions of an opponent can cause damage by itself. WJCF includes skills for preventing damage when falling or being thrown, and by being able to deal with multiple opponents from a prone position. Unique Approach to GrapplingBeing taken to the ground gives a striking system's practioner pause. WJCF includes an approach to grappling that allows allays those concerns and gives pause to those that would grapple. Of course, the knowledge of movement and the human body that WJCF studies provide allow for ease of adaptation and defeating the enemy on their own terms...though we prefer our terms. Fitness GuidelinesWJCF focuses very heavily on the individual improvement. Practitioners are strongly encouraged to learn and apply health concepts regarding fitness in all its facets; diet, exercise and rest. Sensitivity DrillsWJCF incorporates many drills employed in sensing the opponent's intent and the best way to deal with it. Team Fighting SkillsWhether with a friend or group of friends, whether they have skills or not, WJCF teaches skills which employ the skills of all individual in the group. Even those whose skills are limited. Ghost AnglesWJCF includes skills, angles and concepts which give the practitioner the ability to virtually vanish from the opponent's sight, leaving the opponent unable to deal with anything the practioner does.
